It’s Our Policy to Have Above-Average Fun

(But We’ve Got Some Rules, Too)

At Charmbiance Wine Bar & Arts, we’re all about fun but there are a few things you should know to ensure that your only surprise is how much you love this place. Please read through our policies below before you visit and let us know if you have questions—chances are, owner MéShelle has a creative answer that will help you have a fantastic time, every time.

PAYMENTS & GRATUITY

We cannot accept credit card payments in person under $20 (cash only for amt due under $20). A 20% Gratuity is greatly appreciated not only on the service of your drinks but also for the service of your class projects. Groups of 6 or more will automatically get charged 20% gratuity on their entire bill.

YOU BRING YOUR ID, WE’LL BRING GREAT DRINKS

We’re pretty relaxed, but not about this one: you must be 21, with a valid ID, to hang out at our bar, tiki bar, or lounge. Minors are welcome to join us for art classes with a parent but no alcohol will be served to underaged guests, even at private events. We take this responsibility seriously and reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

NO CARRY-IN BEVERAGES PLEASE

We are a full bar offering over 40 wines as well as martinis, specialty cocktails, and craft beers. We also have soft drinks, coffee, and a fun menu of non-alcoholic drinks so no outside beverages of any kind are allowed for carry-in. If you would like a special drink for your group or private event, please discuss with MéShelle in advance. Some food may be brought in, but please read our food policy carefully as we are not a licensed restaurant.

FOOD POLICY

Food carry-ins are not allowed. We offer delicious homemade pizza from a local restaurant (Alpine Lanes in Muskego), large soft pretzels with dip, charcuterie plates, and a few other small bites.

NO RESERVATION, NO PROBLEM

Walk-ins are welcome at any public class shown in our online calendar. You should call 414-322-6353 to reserve a table for groups of four or more for crafting. There are many art projects and template choices when you arrive. However, if you want to paint a very personalized piece, it’s best to sign up in advance online—that way, we can have your template ready. If you are just coming in for a cocktail, no need to make a reservation unless you want to reserve our large lounge area for a party of six or more.

BOOKING GROUP CLASSES AND SPECIAL EVENTS

The more the merrier when you bring your party to Charmbiance. We love large groups and have several options for an unforgettable experience:

Public classes—Do you have a large group? Just have everyone sign up online and note your group name in the field that asked who they want to be seated with. (Please note, if your group chooses to stay and celebrate at your table instead of the bar beyond the allotted three-hour class time, there will be an added fee of $150.)
Private classes—book a private class for eight or more. A deposit is required. The room may be shared with another private party if you have under 25 people in your group—unless you have met the requirements to reserve the entire bar. (Please note, if your group chooses to stay and celebrate at your table instead of the bar beyond the allotted three-hour class time, there will be an added fee of $150.) Contact MéShelle with a date and time to start planning.
Private events—celebrate your special occasion at Charmbiance. The entire bar can be reserved exclusively (closed to the public) for groups of 30 to 55 people—if everyone is crafting, the minimum is 25. If your group is not crafting, there is a minimum bar tab, depending on the number of people in your party.

OUR CLASS REFUND AND RESCHEDULING POLICY

All payments for classes are final. If you are unable to attend a class that you have already paid for, you may be able to apply your registration fee to a future class by following these instructions:

To receive class credit, notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled class. Due to confidentiality laws, no explanation is needed. No credit is offered for last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours notice).
You must then email MéShelle () within one month of your original class date, including “Attend a Make-up Class” in the subject line. Attach your original registration confirmation and indicate which class (within that month) that you’d like to attend.

If there are severe weather conditions, Charmbiance may cancel and reschedule classes for the safety of our staff and guests. Please refer to our Facebook page or our website page where you booked your class for weather notifications.

KIDS ARE WELCOME

We love young artists and offer a number of simple, affordable crafts that kids love to make and share. Because of the additional assistance many require—and let’s face it, paint is messy—we require a chaperone for every three children under the age of nine.

WE PUT THE “FUN” IN FUNDRAISING

Charmbiance likes to give back to EVERYONE that requests a donation for their important fundraiser. In order to be able to say YES to everyone who asks for a donation, we offer FUNdraising Classes! You will receive A LOT MORE money from us towards your cause than by just receiving a monetary donation to raffle.....AND it's a lot FUN!! Here are the details as to what Charmbiance offers for Donations/Fundraising (no exceptions).….

CHARMBIANCE FUNDRAISING CLASSES

Min of 25 people is required for a Fundraising class, Max of 50. Your group will have Charmbiance Wine Bar & Arts exclusively for your event (must be held on a Sunday at any time, or a Saturday between the hours of 10am-2:30pm, or a Monday night).
You receive 18% of class sales, 7% of bar sales, and a generous Monetary donation/gift basket filled with various Charmbiance boutique giftware, wine, and/or gift cards ($75 value). A volunteer on your end would walk around the class and sell the tickets to raffle off the basket. Your organization keeps 100% of the raffle money collected. Note: Donation percentage will be lowered if the 25 person minimum has not been met).
Your fundraising class will be posted privately on our website with a passcode for your guests to register. Everyone registers and pre-pays online. After 25 or more people sign up online, we accept class walk-ins for your event as well (people who want to come last minute but didn’t register online can choose from 6 different projects and several pre-designed art templates at arrival).
